At least 2 years of professional experience in video editing, preferably in e-commerce or digital marketing. • Strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating e-commerce product videos, social media ads, motion graphics, and animation. • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects. • Advanced skills in motion graphics, 2D animation, text/typography animation, logo animation, product animation, icon/infographic animation, animated CTAs, dynamic transitions, tracking, masking, keyframe animation, basic VFX, green screen/background replacement, and visual enhancement. • Ability to create custom motion and animation, not just use ready-made templates. • Strong practical skills in AI-based content creation, including generating high-quality videos, images, backgrounds, scenes, and enhancing existing assets. • Advanced CapCut skills for fast-paced short-form editing, reels/TikTok editing, caption and text animation, effects, transitions, trend-based editing, and performance ads editing. • Mid-level graphics design skills are an extra advantage (social media posts, product banners, ad creatives, thumbnails, etc.). • Experience with e-commerce brands, D2C brands, online businesses, digital agencies, or product-based companies is highly preferred. • Ability to understand briefs and produce final outputs efficiently. • Strong creative thinking, storytelling, and attention to detail. • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. • Must be willing to undergo a practical video editing test during the interview.

Responsibilities & Context

We are seeking a Senior E-commerce Video Editor / Motion Graphics Editor who is not limited to basic video cutting or simple editing, but is capable of creating complete professional, engaging, and brand-standard videos from raw footage, including concept, storytelling, motion graphics, animation, sound design, color grading, and AI-assisted content creation. The candidate will be responsible for creating and editing professional video content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other social media platforms. Candidates with practical skills in advanced video editing, motion graphics, animation, AI-assisted content creation, visual effects, storytelling, and performance marketing creative will be given special preference. Key Responsibilities: - Create and edit high-quality professional videos for e-commerce products, social media, and digital marketing. - Produce platform-specific videos for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms. - Create product promotional videos, ad creatives, reels, shorts, and campaign videos. - Edit Facebook and Instagram ad videos, TikTok ads, and YouTube videos/shorts/ads. - Transform raw footage into complete professional final videos. - Perform advanced video cutting, color correction, and color grading. - Handle sound design, background music, SFX, and audio synchronization. - Apply advanced motion graphics, animation, text animation, typography animation, and product animation. - Use smooth transitions and necessary visual effects. - Create professional graphics and animations to highlight product features and benefits. - Use strong hooks, pattern interrupts, and attention-grabbing visuals. - Create sales-focused video creatives based on marketing team briefs. - Produce multiple hooks, intros, CTAs, and creative variations for the same video. - Ensure visual consistency and quality according to brand guidelines. - Prepare videos in appropriate ratios, resolutions, and durations for each platform. - Use AI tools to create video assets, images, backgrounds, scenes, and product visuals as needed. - Complete multiple video projects within deadlines while maintaining professional quality.
