Responsibilities & Context

Community Development Centre (CODEC) is seeking an Academic Support Assistant for the Akelius Language Programme under the Education and Protection for Refugee Community (EPRC) Project, funded by UNHCR, based in Ukhiya and Teknaf, Cox's Bazar. The role involves planning and implementing educational activities for refugee children, using English as the medium of instruction, and following the Pearson Edexcel curriculum. Key responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, delivering effective classes, assessing learner progress, maintaining records, communicating with parents, and participating in training and professional development. The assistant will also ensure compliance with Child Protection, PSEA, Code of Conduct, and Data Protection policies, and support safeguarding measures. The position is contractual from 15 September 2026 to 31 December 2026, with a monthly salary of Tk. 22,500. Female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
