• Lead the design of formal trousers for the UK market and performance wear for the Canadian market, ensuring alignment with customer expectations, market trends, and brand identity. • Source fabrics directly from mills and establish strong relationships with suppliers for trims and materials. Ensure that all sourced fabrics meet quality and performance standards. • Manage and mentor a team of junior designers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to help them grow professionally. • Collaborate directly with buyers, presenting design concepts, samples, and specifications. Ensure client requirements and deadlines are met. • Contribute to the development of brand identity and storytelling for each collection, ensuring designs communicate a strong narrative that resonates with target customers. • Work on presentations for clients and internal stakeholders, and support the development of marketing tools and promotional materials. • Utilize 3D design software (e.g., Clo3D, Gerber) to create virtual prototypes and presentations where applicable. • Stay up to date with current fashion trends and competitors in the UK and Canadian markets. Integrate these insights into design development. • Work closely with the production and quality control teams to ensure designs meet the highest standards of quality and are produced within budget and timelines.
