Shakti Foundation for Disadvantaged Women, a private development organisation, has announced recruitment for 200 Trainee Officers in its Microfinance division. This is a full-time, field-level position, so the work is carried out directly in the communities the organisation serves rather than from a desk. Selected candidates may be posted anywhere in Bangladesh, and interested applicants can apply until 7 November.
The role centres on building and maintaining the organisation's member base at the field level. Trainee Officers conduct surveys in their assigned working area to identify, select and enrol members, and then support the full loan cycle: preparing loan proposals, identifying suitable guarantors and carrying out loan disbursement activities. A significant part of the job is daily centre-based work, where officers attend centre meetings and are responsible for ensuring 100 percent collection of instalments and savings. Officers also follow up with members on overdue instalments, maintaining regular contact and taking the necessary steps to recover dues.
Beyond collections, the position involves ongoing member education. Officers raise awareness among members on the correct use of passbooks, the productive use of loans and the importance of savings. This is a role suited to candidates who are comfortable with extensive field movement, direct interaction with members and the discipline of daily collection targets. The monthly salary for the position is BDT 33,000.

প্রশিক্ষণকাল: প্রশিক্ষণকাল ৩ সপ্তাহ। শিক্ষানবিশকালে থাকা ও খাওয়ার খরচ প্রতিষ্ঠান বহন করবে।শিক্ষানবিশকালে বেতন-ভাতা: মূল বেতন, বেইজ অ্যালাউন্স, মোটরসাইকেল অ্যালাউন্স ও মোবাইল অ্যালাউন্সসহ মোট ২৬ হাজার টাকা।স্থায়ীকরণের পর বেতন-ভাতা: স্থায়ীকরণের পর মোট বেতন-ভাতা ৩৩ হাজার টাকা।
