Minimum HSC, preferably a Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Security Management, IT, Computer Science, or a related field. - Relevant professional training in CCTV operation, security surveillance, or control-room operations is an advantage. - Minimum 1-4 years of relevant experience in CCTV monitoring, security operations, surveillance, or control-room operations. - Experience in a corporate hospital, healthcare facility, hotel, shopping mall, financial institution, industrial organization, or other large organization is preferred. - Experience in supervising CCTV Operators/Security personnel is an added advantage for the In-Charge role.

Responsibilities & Context

As a CCTV In-charge/Video Surveillance Operator, you will be responsible for the continuous and effective monitoring of the hospital's CCTV and video surveillance systems to safeguard patients, visitors, employees, doctors, hospital assets, medications, equipment, and facilities. Your duties will include: - Installing, configuring, and commissioning CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, monitors, storage devices, and other surveillance equipment across hospital premises. - Conducting site assessments to determine appropriate camera locations, coverage areas, mounting positions, and viewing angles for effective surveillance. - Configuring and connecting IP cameras, NVR/DVR systems, switches, network devices, and related equipment to ensure stable and uninterrupted CCTV connectivity. - Troubleshooting network, connectivity, recording, and communication issues, coordinating with IT/Engineering teams for resolution. - Monitoring CCTV cameras and surveillance screens continuously in critical areas including entrances/exits, OPD, emergency, reception, billing, pharmacy, corridors, parking areas, lifts, restricted zones, and other designated locations. - Maintaining continuous surveillance coverage according to hospital security protocols and shift requirements. - Identifying and promptly reporting suspicious activities, unauthorized access, theft, crowding, altercations, safety hazards, and other unusual incidents. - Monitoring high-risk and sensitive areas with attention to patient, visitor, staff, and asset security. - Ensuring cameras are properly positioned, operational, and providing clear footage; monitoring blind spots and coordinating corrective action. - Reviewing live and recorded footage for security investigations, incident verification, or management instructions. - Immediately informing the Security Supervisor/Manager or relevant authority of any suspicious or emergency situations. - Maintaining an accurate CCTV Incident Log/Observation Register and preparing incident reports with authorized footage or screenshots. - Supporting investigations related to theft, missing items, patient/visitor incidents, staff misconduct, property damage, unauthorized access, and other security matters. - Assisting management in reviewing incidents and identifying security gaps or recurring issues. - Maintaining proper recording and retention of CCTV footage in accordance with hospital policy; retrieving and preserving footage upon authorized request. - Ensuring recordings are not deleted, altered, copied, transferred, or disclosed without authorization; maintaining confidentiality of all surveillance footage and information. - Keeping records of authorized requests for footage retrieval, viewing, copying, or sharing; following backup procedures for critical footage.
