Responsibilities & Context

Community Development Centre (CODEC) is seeking a Technical Officer for S4P & SC to implement the 'Education and Protection for Refugee Community (EPRC) Project' funded by UNHCR, based in Cox's Bazar District. The role involves providing technical guidance, supervision, and quality oversight to S4P and SC Officers and field teams. Key responsibilities include developing and monitoring work plans, conducting field visits, supporting sports-based protection activities, facilitating community dialogues, coordinating with stakeholders, ensuring compliance with safeguarding policies, and preparing reports. The position is contractual from 15 September 2026 to 31 December 2026, with a monthly salary of Tk. 68,250. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in social science, disaster management, peace and conflict, or a related field, with 3-5 years of relevant experience in humanitarian/development programmes, preferably in community-based protection, sport for protection, social cohesion, or youth engagement. Strong communication skills in English and Rohingya, report writing, coordination with CIC office and UNHCR, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and KoBo are required. The role demands cultural sensitivity, supportive supervision, and a commitment to safeguarding and PSEA principles.
