Age 25 to 40 years • MSc./BSc. in IPE/ME/EEE from any reputed university • Strong knowledge of foreign sourcing and procurement • Hands-on experience in supplier development and evaluation • Sound knowledge of Incoterms 2020 and international trade procedures • Strong understanding of HS Code classification, customs regulations, VAT and import duty structures • Practical experience in utilizing SRO facilities and claiming regulatory benefits • Knowledge of import documentation, LC, TT, customs clearance and commercial procedures • Excellent negotiation and communication skills • Strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving abilities • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and ERP systems • Ability to communicate effectively in English with foreign suppliers

Responsibilities & Context

Coordinate sourcing and procurement activities ensuring quality, shortest lead time, and competitive pricing. • Identify and qualify suppliers for critical materials. • Find suitable suppliers for raw materials and spare parts. • Finalize PO/PI, SKD/CKD, LC, TT, CAD based on customization checklists and guidelines, maintaining proper correspondence with relevant departments. • Coordinate commercial staff to procure materials/components considering all available Customs and VAT SROs. • Assist R&I and costing departments in analyzing feasibility of new SKUs and projects by providing required information. • Prepare budgetary reports for material purchases and monthly reports for management. • Participate in major overseas exhibitions/trade fairs to find cost-effective suppliers and materials. • Regularly correspond with material suppliers regarding quality feedback and development. • Coordinate with production and planning departments and follow up on material stock based on requirements.
