SOS Children’s Village International is probably the largest private child welfare humanitarian organization working more than 130 countries and territories in the world. In Bangladesh, we started our operations in Dhaka in 1972, and since then we have expanded our activities from here to Rajshahi, Khulna, Bagerhat, Chattogram, Bogura, Kurigram, Gazipur and Sylhet. Our Programmes contribute to delivering on SDGs with a special focus on our target group to improve national social protection system, fighting inequalities, promoting access to quality education, strengthening youth employability and ending violence against children. SOS Bangladesh is seeking competent candidates for the smooth operation of the following positions. • Project Name: JAGORON Project • Nature of Job: Multi years Project, Fixed Term Contract for One year (Yearly renewable based on performance) Mission of the Position: The Trainer – Soft Skills will be responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating high-quality employability and life skills training for youth participants under the JAGORON Project. The position will equip young women and men with essential workplace competencies, interpersonal skills, career readiness, and professional behaviors required to secure and sustain decent employment or successfully pursue entrepreneurship. The Trainer will work closely with the Skills Development, Career Services, and Private Sector Engagement teams to ensure that soft skills training complements technical and vocational training and meets labor market expectations. Key performance areas and main responsibilities: Training Planning and Delivery • Conduct soft skills training sessions for project participants using participatory and learner-centered methodologies. • Deliver training on employability skills, workplace readiness, and life skills. • Prepare annual, quarterly, and monthly training plans. • Customize training materials to address local labor market demands and participant needs. • Ensure inclusive and gender-responsive training approaches. • Facilitate both face-to-face and online learning sessions where applicable. Curriculum Implementation Deliver training on topics including but not limited to: • Communication skills • Interpersonal skills • Teamwork and collaboration • Leadership • Time management • Critical thinking and problem solving • Decision-making • Adaptability and resilience • Emotional intelligence • Workplace ethics and professionalism • Customer service • Conflict resolution • Negotiation skills • Presentation and public speaking • Digital workplace etiquette • Financial literacy (basic) • Career planning • CV writing • Cover letter preparation • Interview preparation • Job search techniques • Workplace safety and safeguarding • Gender equality and social inclusion • Climate awareness and green workplace practices Youth Capacity Development • Assess participants' learning needs. • Provide coaching and mentoring. • Support youth in developing Individual Career Development Plans. • Facilitate practical exercises, simulations, role plays, and mock interviews. • Identify participants requiring additional support. Training Quality Assurance • Maintain high-quality facilitation standards. • Conduct pre- and post-training assessments. • Collect participant feedback. • Improve training materials based on evaluation findings. • Ensure compliance with project training standards. Coordination • Coordinate with technical trainers to integrate employability competencies. • Work closely with the Job Placement & Career Services team. • Coordinate with employers during career fairs, mock interviews, and recruitment events. • Support Youth-Led Organizations (YLOs) in organiz
