Responsibilities & Context

A. Program Planning and Management: Develop and implement regional plans aligned with program goals. Provide guidance to Area and Branch Managers. Supervise micro credit activities, ensure coordinated delivery, and update proposals and budgets. Identify challenges and opportunities, and support branch expansion while maintaining portfolio quality. B. Field Operations and Micro Credit Management: Conduct frequent field visits (minimum 80% field-based). Monitor group formation, client selection, loan appraisal, disbursement, recovery, and record keeping. Ensure savings and loan targets are met. Monitor overdue loans and portfolio quality. Ensure proper banking and data entry into gBanker. Conduct random household visits. Assist in loan recovery and maintain accurate records. C. Monitoring, Evaluation and Quality Assurance: Establish monitoring systems for branches. Review performance against targets. Monitor quality of operations and identify weaknesses or fraud risks. Develop impact indicators and incorporate them into reports. Conduct monitoring visits and prepare reports with recommendations. D. Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Ensure compliance with World Concern policies, MRA rules, laws, and donor requirements. Maintain required documents and registers. Promote transparency and report compliance issues or fraud. E. Financial and Administrative Management: Work with Finance to ensure proper financial management. Authorize expenditures within budgets. Review financial transactions. Prepare cash-flow projections. Ensure custody of assets and adherence to administrative procedures. F. Human Resources and Staff Development: Develop work plans and communicate responsibilities. Supervise and mentor staff. Identify training needs and arrange development. Assist in recruitment and performance evaluation. Promote teamwork and conduct regular meetings. G. Coordination and Networking: Liaise with government officials, NGOs, community leaders, and stakeholders. Build professional networks. Coordinate with internal departments. Represent the program in meetings and promote community participation. H. Reporting and Documentation: Ensure proper documentation and record keeping. Collect and consolidate information from field staff. Submit monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Prepare monitoring reports and impact case studies. I. Risk Management, Safeguarding and Security: Identify and mitigate operational, financial, and security risks. Promote a safe working environment. Ensure staff comply with safeguarding policies. Escalate serious incidents. J. Program Impact and Sustainability: Develop impact indicators. Monitor loan usage and contribution to livelihoods. Identify improvement opportunities. Support client retention and responsible growth. K. Leadership and Organizational Development: Provide strong leadership, encourage staff development, and promote effective communication. Participate in organizational planning and contribute to policy improvement.
